I know the framing makes this look like it's sitting on a coffin, but I am reasonably confident I still live.

Why run a personal website in 2026? Great question, thanks for asking.

Because writing is fun and good for our brains, and if I ever need to point at something and say AI didn't write it, here we are.

These are 100 percent artisanal hand-crafted posts. Join me in never using AI unless you have to, unless you are my employer reading this, in which case I fully embrace the time-saving productivity benefits AI brings to the table, and I am excited to have you not read the thing I didn't write while we otherwise smash metrics this quarter.

Unless my current employer doesn't see the value in AI, in which case we're back to my first point.

Do I expect anyone to read this? Of course not. Is it good for my mental health? Maybe. Is it something to do while I'm disappointed in every series finale for the last year? Also yes.
